Welcome to Rapid Creek Bed and Breakfast! Nestled in the scenic mountains of Marsh Valley with an outstanding view of the Pebble Creek Ski Resort, Idaho's Rapid Creek Bed and Breakfast provides a wonderful lodge feel with themed bedrooms for our guests to thoroughly enjoy. The Fishing Room, the Bear Room, the Romantic Room and our Western themed Bunk House Room that has 10 adult extra long twin sized beds...You can choose a room that fits for you! At Rapid Creek Bed and Breakfast, we also provide a large deck with a 6-person hot tub, a conference room and office area with internet access, and a living room that has an extra pull out queen bed. Roll-aways are also available if needed. We serve a delicious breakfast between 8 and 9:30 a.m., however you can make prior arrangements for different times and a different menu if desired. Hearthstone Elegant Lodge on the Clearwater River is one of America's finest inns. Hearthstone Lodge is located in Kamiah, in North Central Idaho on US Highway 12 also called the Northwest Passage to the Sea. This trail was traversed by 1850 AD Conestoga Wagon travelers. Explorers Lewis and Clark had their Longest Expedition Camp here in 1805 and called this area Paradise Valley in their famous journals because of the lush fauna, flora, and wild fruit trees. Historic, friendly Kamiah provides many visitor services including 7 eateries, shops, convenience stores, a casino, a museum and much more.
For over 2000 years The Nez Perce Native Americans used Kamiah area as their sheltered winter trading center. This beautiful area, the gateway to the largest remaining wilderness in the lower 48 states, is still part of the designated Nez Perce Reservation although occupied by many other non-native residents too. We have Cowboys, Indians, and sophisticated persons who love culture in overalls.
