Located just three miles south of Valley City, Sheyenne Riverbend Farm is dedicated to providing a place where families can gather in a relaxed and wholesome setting in a gorgeous open countryside. With 65 acres of country pleasure and with the Sheyenne River wrapping around three sides of the property with trees and hay fields, the Sheyenne Riverbend Farm is there for you to take a step back in time and let yourself unwind. You and your family will be surrounded by symbols of home, faith and community, which will help your family build lasting bonds between generations. Our beautifully restored 1906 chapel helps preserve the reverence and faith of our founding pioneers in the late 1880s, and is the ideal spot for your wedding and reception. Our Event Center is perfect for reunions, meetings, receptions, parties and banquets. The School House is an historic one-room schoolhouse which also provides comfortable lodging for two to three guests. Our RV Park offers space for self-contained RVs with a few spots that provide an unforgettable retreat nestled in the trees. We also provide picnic tables in gorgeous park areas with grills and fire pits. The Guest Inn, (a.k.a. The Farmhouse), is a wonderful family-friendly lodging facility that is extremely comfortable and has room for up to eight people. This old country farm house was originally built in the 1880's, and as the family grew, so did the house! The last remodeling was done in the 1950's. Make yourself at home and enjoy this splendid old country house.
