Baker Ranch Scenic Wagon Rides | 208-776-5684
Celebrating 26 years of providing scenic wagon rides in the Lava Hot Springs Area, the multi-generation Baker Ranch welcomes you! Our wagons are led by a gorgeous team of draft horses as we take you through the stunning landscape of the Southeast Idaho mountains. Enjoy the refreshing evening air and remarkable mountain scenery as our wagon takes you to the Baker Ranch's private neck of the woods on Dempsey Creek, where slow roasted BBQ beef awaits you, along with all the fixings including an Idaho baked potato with all the toppings, ranch beans, sweet corn, fresh homemade bread, choice of green or fruit salad, and ice cold raspberry lemonade (other drink options available). Everything on your plate is homemade, and our food is so delicious it's always worth the journey. After your authentic country meal is finished, you can relax in the shadow of the surrounding mountains as you listen to live music next to a warm campfire as you enjoy your homemade dessert... which always includes fresh, hand-picked raspberries and/or elderberries that are never sprayed with chemicals. (Ask us about our home-made raspberry and elderberry products for sale.) As you relax, the kids can explore the area along the walking path, and play on the slide and tire horse swings. On the trip out, just before the sun sets, the native wildlife is typically out in the open for all to see. And the final 20-minutes of your wagon ride is in the twilight with the carriage lights on, making for a magical experience. Our 3 hour scenic wagon ride and dinner is truly something you and your family will not only completely enjoy, but will always remember. Our wagon rides begin June 7th and last through September, and is a "must do" while visiting the Lava Hot Springs Area.
