Largilliere Carriage House Bed & Breakfast | 208-547-3663
Inviting. Comfortable. Relaxing. These three words perfectly describe the Largilliere Carriage House Bed & Breakfast! Located in Soda Springs, Idaho, this historic home was recently renovated and is romantically filled with vintage memorabilia and antiques. We strive to keep the "old time charm" of this special home and still provide our guests with all the modern comforts they've come to expect. The Largilleire Carriage House has four bedrooms, each offering a wonderfully unique theme which we are confident one will call to you! And you will thoroughly enjoy our full breakfast that we serve daily. The Largilliere Carriage House has a rich history, beginning with a wealthy French immigrant by the name of August Largilliere, who came to Soda Springs with his family in the late 1800’s. He built a grocery store, dry goods store, brewery and a banking business... as well as ran several hundred sheep on 1,700 acres of land. This historic home is all that's left of this amazing family's legacy, and was used for various business through the years. When we purchased the home in 1989, we converted it into a restaurant. We then had the building listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and in 2012 we closed the restaurant and converted it into the bed & breakfast that you see today. WiFi and cable TV is provided, as well as a hot tub, secluded deck, front porch and a fire pit. Located in the heart of Soda Springs, the Largilliere Carriage House Bed & Breakfast is a mere walking distance from grocery stores, walking/bike paths, parks, the historic Eastman Drug (oldest drug store in Idaho), and the world's only captive geyser. And one of the main attractions in this area are the Oregon Trail Bear Lake Scenic Byway and the National Pioneer Historic Byway. As for us, your hosts Dr. Gary and Robbie Lamarr, we moved to Soda Springs in 1984 and built a dental practice and raised four children. After 32 years we retired and purchased the Largilliere Carriage House in 2012, and have been completely devoted to making our bed and breakfast the best it can be ever since. So for your next vacation or visit to the Soda Springs Area, come join us at the Largilliere Carriage House Bed & Breakfast, where you'll truly enjoy your experience here, as well as become our friends.
